Privacy Policy

Effective November 4, 2026

RouLift ("we", "us") makes the RouLift app. This policy explains what information the app handles and why. The short version: your workouts stay on your phone, we don't sell data, and we don't run ads.

Information stored on your device

Everything you enter in RouLift is stored locally on your iPhone and is not sent to our servers. This includes your profile answers (name, training preferences, experience level, approximate age range, bodyweight and injury areas you choose to avoid), the places and equipment you set up, your workouts, logged lifts and activities, personal records, custom moves and favorites. Deleting the app or using Log out erases this data from your device. We do not have a copy and cannot recover it.

Purchases

Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment card details. We use RevenueCat, a subscription service, to confirm whether you have an active subscription. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and your App Store purchase and subscription status. Sharing boxes with friends

When you send a box or challenge, RouLift creates a link that contains the box itself: its name, the exercises, the name you entered as the sender, and any custom moves included. You choose who to share it with through your phone's share sheet. Anyone with the link can see that content. Opening a link on roulift.com reads the box from the link in your browser; we don't store it.

Clipboard

If you tap the button to paste a box from a friend, RouLift reads your clipboard once to find the box code. iOS asks your permission first. We don't read your clipboard otherwise.

Notifications

RouLift schedules local notifications on your phone (for example, when a rest timer or run interval ends). These are created on your device and are not sent through our servers.

Analytics and crash reports

RouLift does not currently use analytics or advertising trackers. If we add privacy-friendly crash or usage reporting in the future, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy details before doing so.

Children

RouLift is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Health information

Calorie numbers in RouLift are rough estimates from your logs and are not medical information. RouLift is not a medical device.

Your choices

You can edit or delete any entry in the app, and you can erase everything with Settings → Log out. For questions about this policy, email [email protected].
